zoo eats

While at the zoo, we had to take a lunch break. There was no cost for admission at the zoo, but boy do they charge you for everything else. It was $2 for a map of the zoo, and the food prices were similar to that of amusement parks. Oh well, we had to eat (well, I had to eat), so we got some food.

After staring at the billboard for about ten minutes, we determined that the best bang for our buck would be the Junior Souvenir lunch pack. This Junior Souvenir pack consisted of: choice of nuggets, hamburger or Boca burger (vegan), fries, applesauce, a small drink, and this nifty lunch bag (choice of panda, tiger or frog).
I just love the little tail on the back of the bag.

It also got hot and I was thirsty, so we opted for a snow cone figuring it would last longer than an ice-cream cone. It did the trick of parching our thirst and keeping us cool. Then after we finished our snow cones, we saw a Hawaiian Shaved Ice stand. Grr!!
