NYE dinner ritual with T

Whenever T and I get to spend a NYE together, we tend to go out to a Chinese restaurant. This year, the only Chinese restaurant that was recommended to me was China Garden in Arlington, VA, so we headed over there for our NYE dinner ritual:

Snowpea tips sauteed in garlic...
...Peking Duck, with fried shrimp chips that didn't taste like shrimp chips (and the first time I've seen Peking Duck served with shrimp chips)...the crispy duck skin was crackling...hahaha

And we initially ordered one lobster ginger scallion style. Then we ate him up in about two minues and decided we needed to order another lobster because we were just that hungry. Shown below, the destruction of our first order of lobster.
For dessert, the restaurant served bubor cha cha (T told me that, because I really wouldn't know what to call it in English). It's like tapioca. (Alright, if you really want to know what it is, google it.)

After the restaurant owner impliedly kicked us out at 10pm (all the servers had left for the night and the owner kept coming by our table saying "take your time, take your time" but you know he didn't really mean it), we went back to my place to continue the rest of our NYE festivities -- opening up a bottle of bubbly and watching Australia.

Yeah, we're hard core party animals.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
